Forbidden Fruit

'Eve' (detail) sculpture by Karel Gomez. Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. Click pics to enlarge. This artist certainly knows how to give emotions to his sculptures. This sculpture is all about guilt and regret (the if only I hadn't feeling) and it's a true masterpiece, hidden in a corner of a large garden. How appropriate... I will show more pics of Gomez' stunning sculptures on this blog, stay with me!

It is truly a wonderfull sculpture. I like the way you captured the breast and the face in the fist picture...the viewer has the impression he's a small child looking up to his beloved mother.

Well, I fooled around with it, to be honest. I changed the colours and cut out this detail, because I liked the angle too. You need to see the apple in order to understand the meaning of this sculpture, but from this angle and with a bit more contrast I turned this into a 'piece of art' of my own. I did this with a standard Windows media programme, but I bought Photoshop Elements 6 yesterday. Do you use software for digital image processing? I guess you do...

I only use the Picassa program that come free from google...I edit a lot my pictures but I do not make very profound changes...I just keep it natural as much as I can.

I'm looking foreward to see what you make of your new Photoshop program! :).
