Yeah - and if you know the place, it's funny too, because here you can see the skyscrapers (Dutch size) next to Hoofddorp rail way station on one side, and the green dykes with sheep on the other side. Maybe one day I will be able to catch these contrasting images in one pic... Thanks for commenting! Take care.
One more thing. I liked the fact that the sheep were walking high above me on the dyke, so that I could respectfully approach them and take their picture against the sky - without creeping in the mud! I like the pic with the 'big sky' - where else can you take a picture like that? And I also like the way these sheep react. They are very careful, but also very curious. If you talk friendly to them and don't make any wild gestures or movements, they seem to give you their trust. One little lamb even walked towards me, it was vulnerable, but also confident. I am a city boy, really, so I don't know how sheep or other 'farm animals' behave, but I like it when animals are not afraid of me. Unfortunately we give them a lot of reasons to be afraid... and I am really upset when people are cruel towards animals. When a cat runs or a bird flies away from me, I always feel a bit disappointed. It shouldn't be like that! Silly old sentimental fool I am. I just want to be friends with all living beings. ;-)
