Well I do accept some credit for the photos, but I didn't make the grass ;-) But you are right. I like the space on this island and the simplicity of the landscape. I walked on this dyke and I was just happy being there and enjoying the view. Greetings to you from the Netherlands - the low countries!
@ Demara - thanks! It is getting harder to find open space here too. But because we don't have a hard soil (no rocks here!), we only have high voltage power lines dangling in the air. But you can make nice photographs of them too! (Check my September 7 pic - Hitchcock High Voltage).
I am sure Canada is a great country to live and to take photographs. I would love to go there some day and see it all with my own eyes! Blessings from the wireless (well, more or less) Netherlands
Leuk dat je reageerde op mn blog. Je hebt toffe plaatjes geschoten op texel! Wanneer ik een nieuwe camera heb, ga ik ook weer lekker aan de slag. De 'nederland is mooi-plaatjes' zijn geschoten met mijn oude 2megapixel apparaat...

Iemand zij laatst tegen mij: de fotograaf maakt de foto, niet de camera. 2 megapixel is tegenwoordig inderdaad niet echt mega, maar voor een beeldscherm kun je toch wel aardige foto's maken. Je ziet het verschil vooral als je op een foto klikt - bij mij zijn er dan veel details te zien omdat mijn camera dat goed vastlegt. Ik heb niet een extreem dure camera, maar het helpt natuurlijk wel als je goed materiaal in handen hebt.
